Housekeeping and additional supplies
For longer stays, a housekeeping visit for a "light cleaning" can be arranged at half the cleaning fee. Most cleaners in the area have a two hour minimum charge, but it's often possible to split those costs with the other suite or the host, so the option is offered.
This includes:
- - Bed Linens replaced
- - Bathroom cleaned, fresh towels and toiletries
- - Tidying Up
- - Dusting and vacuuming (as necessary)
- - Trash Removal
- - Kitchenette dishes cleaned, surfaces wiped down
- - Appliances such as coffee machines cleaned
- - Restocking with fresh supplies (coffee etc)
- - General check for any other issues needing attention
The suite is stocked in a manner to give you a hassle free arrival into the area, but is not restocked on an ongoing basis unless you arrange it.
Tipping
Cleaners receive a $5 bonus for every 5-star cleanliness rating from guests. Tips are optional if no rating is given. We surpass Victoria BC's living wage, not minimum wage, to attract professionals that take pride in their craft.
